Acadia went up around 1960, between Heritage Drive and Southland Drive, with Macleod Trail along the west side. It's a mix of original bungalows and a lot of apartment buildings, and plenty of both are rentals. So junk removal in Acadia usually follows the calendar: move-outs at month end, and the odd basement that finally gets cleared.
Book online and pay when you book. Set things out by 8 am on a Tuesday or Friday, in the alley, at the curb or in an open garage. You don't have to be home. We send a photo once it's loaded.
Where to leave it in Acadia
Most of the bungalows have a back lane and a detached garage. Put items beside the garage pad, not in the middle of the lane where neighbours drive through.
In the apartment buildings, ask the manager where things can sit on pickup morning. The curb out front or a spot by the parking lot usually works. We don't go into hallways or storage rooms.
Set it out the morning of pickup. A pile left in an alley overnight has a way of growing.
What people get rid of in Acadia
Some of these houses have had one owner for decades. Others get a new tenant every year. That gives you two kinds of piles:
- A full bedroom set from a long-time owner downsizing
- A mattress and box spring left behind at move-out
- A chest freezer that's been in the basement since the 80s
- Flat-pack shelving that didn't survive the last move
Junk pickup pricing in Acadia
Curbside pickups start at $69. Acadia pays the same as anywhere else we serve, with no travel fee. We don't come inside, so the freezer needs to be up and out first. Get your price.
