Quarry Park was built on an old gravel quarry beside the Bow River. Today it's offices, the Remington YMCA, a grocery-anchored shopping area and a lot of condos and townhomes, with some detached houses mixed in. Plenty of people here rent, and plenty more are in their first condo.
That makes junk pickup in Quarry Park a bit different from the suburbs around it. Book a Tuesday or Friday, pay online, and have it down at the curb or on your pad by 8 am. You don't need to be there. We send a photo when it's gone.
Where to leave it in Quarry Park
If you're in a condo building, we can't go into hallways, the parkade or the garbage room. Curbside here means outside: the curb, a loading zone, or a visitor parking spot if your building allows it. Check with your property manager first. Many buildings have rules about bulky items and about when you can use the elevator to move them.
Townhomes with an attached garage can use the garage apron or the driveway. Keep it off shared sidewalks.
Bring it down the morning of pickup. Stuff left out overnight near a building entrance tends to get a call from management.
What people get rid of in Quarry Park
Smaller homes and a lot of moving in and out. Common pickups:
- Mattresses and box springs at the end of a lease
- IKEA-style dressers and desks that won't survive another move
- A balcony patio set or a BBQ with the propane tank removed
- TVs and monitors, which go to electronics recycling
