Cambrian Heights is a small community just below Nose Hill, east of 14 Street and south of John Laurie Boulevard. It was built in the late 1950s, and most lots still have the original bungalow, a detached garage and a back lane. Some have been replaced by bigger infills.
Junk removal in Cambrian Heights mostly comes down to one of those two things. An older house being emptied, or a new one being finished. Either way, book online, leave it in the lane by 8 am on Tuesday or Friday, and we'll text a photo when it's gone.
Where to leave it in Cambrian Heights
Use the back lane. Set things beside the garage door or the parking pad so a car can still squeeze past while we load.
If your lane slopes, lay tall items down flat so they don't topple.
If the lane is muddy or blocked by construction, the front curb is fine. Tell us in the notes.
Put items out the morning of pickup. Bags left out overnight tend to get torn open.
What people get rid of in Cambrian Heights
Sixty-plus years means the garage has layers. The bottom layer is usually the most interesting.
- Old workbenches and metal shelving (metal goes to scrap)
- Wooden storm windows and screen doors
- Mid-century chairs and side tables
- Push mowers, rakes and garden tools past saving
- Bagged leaves from the big trees on the street
If you're building an infill and the old garage is coming down, that's a demolition job, not a pickup. We can take the contents.
Junk pickup pricing in Cambrian Heights
Curbside pickups start at $69. Same price here as anywhere else we go, no travel fee. We don't go into the house. Just inside an open garage door is fine. Get your price.
