Diamond Cove is small. A couple of hundred homes, one entrance off Bow Bottom Trail, and the Bow River along the east side. It was built as an estate area starting around 1989, so the lots and houses are bigger than in most of the communities around it.
Bigger houses hold more stuff, but people here usually aren't clearing a whole house. Junk removal in Diamond Cove is more often the old patio set, a guest room bed or a pile from the garage. Leave it on the driveway by 8 am on a Tuesday or Friday. Pay online when you book. You don't need to be home.
Where to leave it in Diamond Cove
Driveways here can be long. Leave items near the street end of the driveway, not up by the house, so we can see them from the road and load without a long carry.
If something is heavy, an open garage is fine too. Just say in the booking notes that it's in the garage and which bay.
Set things out the morning of pickup. With only one way in and out of the community, there's not much traffic, but there's also nowhere to hide a sofa from the rain.
What people get rid of in Diamond Cove
Larger homes from the early 90s are due for updates. That usually means:
- Big leather sectionals and oversized armchairs
- Patio furniture and old BBQs
- Guest room beds and mattresses
- Bagged garden waste and pots from the yard
