Junk removal in Elbow Park, Calgary

  • Curbside from $69
  • No travel fees
  • No need to be home
  • One item to a truckload

Elbow Park is one of Calgary's oldest residential neighbourhoods, built along both sides of the Elbow River starting in the 1910s. Big trees, curved streets, and houses that range from century-old character homes to new rebuilds. After the 2013 flood, a lot of basements were redone or the whole house was replaced.

Junk removal in Elbow Park is mostly what renovations leave behind, plus furniture that's been in the family a long time. Leave it in the alley or at the curb by 8 am on Tuesday or Friday. You don't need to be home.

Where to leave it in Elbow Park

Many homes here have a back lane and a detached garage. If yours does, the alley beside the garage is the easiest spot for us. Keep it off your neighbour's apron.

Homes on the curved streets near the river don't always have lane access. In that case, set things on the front walk near the curb, not on the boulevard grass under the trees.

If there's an infill going up next door, the lane may be blocked by a bin or trades trucks. Put a note in your booking and we'll come to the front instead.

What people get rid of in Elbow Park

Older homes, ongoing renovations. Expect things like:

  • Old wood furniture that doesn't suit the new interior
  • Cabinets, vanities and doors from a reno, in small amounts
  • Basement contents being cleared before new flooring
  • Garden furniture and bagged yard waste from mature yards

Questions from Elbow Park

We're renovating. Can you take the construction waste?

Small amounts, yes. A few cabinets, an old vanity, some trim. Drywall, shingles and concrete in bulk aren't something we haul, and a full reno needs a bin.

There's a nice old dresser in the basement. Does it go to the dump?

Not if a charity will take it. We try donation first for anything usable. If it's damaged or nobody wants it, it goes to the landfill.
