Legacy is one of the newer suburbs south of Highway 22X, and most houses here are less than 15 years old. That means the junk is different from an older neighbourhood. Fewer worn-out recliners, more packaging, starter furniture and leftovers from finishing the basement. Junk pickup in Legacy tends to come right after a project wraps up.
Book online and pay up front. Leave everything at the curb, the driveway or the rear lane by 8 am on Tuesday or Friday, and you can be at work. We text a photo when it's cleared.
Where to leave it in Legacy
Legacy mixes front-garage houses, laned homes with garages off the back, and townhouse rows. Use whichever side your garage is on. For laned homes, the parking pad or the lane beside the garage is best.
Townhouse owners should check their condo board's rules. Most allow items by your own garage on pickup morning, not in visitor parking.
New suburbs get wind. Bag loose stuff, weigh down boxes, and put it out the morning of, not the night before.
What people get rid of in Legacy
Common pickups in a newer community:
- Cardboard and foam from new appliances and furniture
- The first couch, replaced once the kids got bigger
- Carpet offcuts, trim and bagged drywall scraps from a basement build
- Cribs, change tables and outgrown toddler beds
We take small amounts of reno waste. If you've got a full basement's worth of drywall, that's a bin job.
Junk pickup pricing in Legacy
Pickups at the curb start at $69. Legacy gets the same price as anywhere else we serve, and there's no fee for the drive south. We don't go into basements. Just inside an open garage door is fine. Get your price.
