You can see Chinook Centre from parts of Meadowlark Park. The mall is on one side, Elbow Drive on the other, and in between are a few hundred detached houses from the mid-1950s onward. Some are original bungalows. Some have been rebuilt.
That split makes for two kinds of junk removal in Meadowlark Park. Older homes clearing out decades of basement storage, and new builds getting rid of whatever the move left behind. Either way, leave it out by 8 am on a Tuesday or Friday. You can be at work. We'll text a photo.
Where to leave it in Meadowlark Park
The front driveway is the usual spot. If your lot has back lane access, that works too. Pick the side that's easiest to reach and note it when you book.
Elbow Drive is busy. If your house faces it, don't leave things on the boulevard where they could blow into traffic. Use the lane or the driveway instead.
Morning of pickup is the right time to set it out, not the weekend before.
What people get rid of in Meadowlark Park
The common stuff here comes from 1950s houses that have been lived in hard, and newer houses that came with too much:
- Old box springs and bed frames from basement guest rooms
- Recliners and TV cabinets built for tube TVs
- Moving boxes and packing paper, flattened and bundled
- Bikes and kids' gear that's been outgrown
