Panorama Hills is one of the biggest communities in the north end, with more than 8,000 homes between Country Hills Boulevard and Stoney Trail. It started in the mid-1990s and kept building for years after, so the south end and the north end can feel like different decades.
The older streets near the golf course are into their first big round of updates. The newer ones are still finishing basements. Either way, junk removal in Panorama Hills is usually a single load: a few pieces of furniture, an old appliance, a garage purge. Book online, set it out by 8 am on Tuesday or Friday, and you can be at work.
Where to leave it in Panorama Hills
Nearly everything here is a detached house with a front garage. The bottom of the driveway is perfect. If your driveway slopes, put items on the flattest part.
On streets with a lot of parked cars, leave the curb in front of your house clear if you can. It saves us parking down the block and walking a mattress back.
Morning of pickup is the right time to bring things out. Don't leave bags overnight.
What people get rid of in Panorama Hills
With this many homes and this many years of building, the list is wide. A few that are common in houses this age:
- Sectionals and recliners from the early 2000s
- An old hot water tank after a replacement
- Kids' desks, beds and bookshelves as the kids move out
- Garage shelving, old bikes and hockey gear
An empty water tank is mostly metal and goes to scrap. Drain it fully and disconnect it before pickup. We don't do any disconnecting.
Junk pickup pricing in Panorama Hills
Curbside pickups start at $69. No travel fee for the north end. The price here is the same as in every other community we serve. We don't come inside, so anything in the basement needs to be up and out first. Get your price online.
