Crowchild Trail splits this community in two. Scarboro sits on the hill on the east side, with older detached houses on streets that bend with the slope. Sunalta West is the small pocket west of Crowchild, only a few hundred homes. Junk removal in Scarboro and Sunalta West is usually one awkward thing at a time: a dresser that won't go down a narrow basement stair, or a fridge that got replaced.
Book online and pay when you book. Have it out by 8 am on Tuesday or Friday. You don't need to be home, and we text a photo once it's loaded.
Where to leave it in Scarboro and Sunalta West
A lot of these lots are on a grade, so the top of a sloped front walk isn't the best spot. Bring it down to the curb, or out to the back lane if your house has one and that's easier.
If something is too heavy to move down the hill yourself, we're not the right fit for that item. We don't come up to the house.
Leave it out the morning of pickup, not the night before. A dresser left out overnight is an open invitation for someone to dig through the drawers.
What people get rid of in Scarboro and Sunalta West
Houses here are old enough that most have been renovated at least once, and some are partway through another round. That tends to mean:
- A heavy old wardrobe that doesn't fit the new layout
- A few boxes of tile, trim or leftover flooring
- The old washer and dryer after an upgrade
- Mattresses from a guest room that's becoming an office
We can take small amounts of reno leftovers. A whole gutted kitchen is a bin job, not a pickup truck job.
