Southview is a compact grid between 17 Avenue SE and 26 Avenue SE, with 36 Street on the east side. It dates to the 1950s, so a lot of the homes are post-war bungalows with back alleys, mixed with some newer builds and small apartment buildings. Plenty of homes are rented. Junk removal in Southview usually means a tenant moving out or an older bungalow getting cleared for a reno.
Book online, pay when you book, and leave it in the alley or at the curb by 8 am on Tuesday or Friday. You don't need to be home. We text a photo after.
Where to leave it in Southview
Most houses here have an alley out back, and that's the easiest spot for us. Set items beside your garage or parking pad, clear of your neighbour's bins.
If you're near 17 Avenue, the front street can be busy. The alley is safer for loading.
Apartment tenants should check with the building manager. Use the curb or parking area, not hallways or stairwells.
What people get rid of in Southview
Post-war bungalows, small basements and a steady rental turnover lead to pickups like:
- Old mattresses and bed frames left by tenants
- Couches that came out of tight basement suites
- Kitchen cabinets and old fixtures from a small reno
- Bags of household garbage after a move-out
Small amounts of reno debris are fine. Concrete, shingles and anything with asbestos we can't take. In houses this age, have anything suspect tested before you pull it out.
Junk pickup pricing in Southview
Curbside pickup starts at $69. There's no travel fee, and Southview is priced the same as every other community we serve. We don't come inside, so it needs to be up from the basement and out first. Get your price.
